More than a typical security company, SEA-TAC was founded and is led by a seasoned law enforcement officer and military leader with over 30 years of combined experience in law enforcement, military operations, and private security.

Our personnel includes a highly trained team of current and former law enforcement officers, security specialists, and military professionals with advanced, specialized training in areas such as S.W.A.T., special operations, gang intelligence, criminal and narcotics investigations, accident reconstruction, dignitary protection, convoy operations, and active shooter response.

SEA-TAC Protective Services, named in tribute to the Director’s birthplace of Seattle, Washington, is an emerging leader in the protective services industry. Founded by a veteran law enforcement officer with more than 30 years of combined experience in security, military, and policing, SEA-TAC was built on the belief that every client deserves a high standard of protection rooted in training, professionalism, and accountability.

DIRECTOR
Jason M. Sims, Sr.
Mr. Sims serves as the Director of SEA-TAC Protective Services and is responsible for overseeing daily operations and supervising personnel. He is highly respected by his peers and brings over 30 years of combined experience in law enforcement, military service, and private security. Mr. Sims is a certified law enforcement officer in both Tennessee and Mississippi, actively maintaining his Mississippi certification. He holds a college degree in Criminal Justice and has received extensive training throughout his career. His law enforcement background includes service as a Uniform Patrol Officer, Patrol Shift Supervisor, Patrol Shift Commander, Criminal Investigator, Gang Intelligence Officer, S.W.A.T. Operator, S.W.A.T. Team Leader, and Street Crimes Unit Commander. In the private sector, Mr. Sims has served as an Armed Security Officer and Security Supervisor for two major security companies in Memphis, Tennessee. He began his military career in 1990 and honorably retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as a First Sergeant (1SG), having served as a Unit First Sergeant and Instructor/Writer. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army’s Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, and Master Leader Course, and is a certified instructor. Mr. Sims is known for his strong leadership, discipline, and unwavering commitment to excellence, holding both his team and himself to the highest professional standards.
